Times of the School Day

Morning

Gates open - 8.45am

Gates close and school starts - 9am

Afternoon

Gates open - 3.30pm

Please collect your child promptly.

Which gate do I use?

Our gates have different names which are written in big letters above them. Each gate is for different year groups as follows:

Nestlings Gate - Nursery and Reception

Fledglings Gate - Years 1-3

High Fliers Gate - Years 4-6

Uniform

You can buy our uniform jumpers at the Trutex shop on Broadway Market, Hackney. You can buy the rest of our uniform from any uniform shop. Children at Nightingale wear grey trousers or skirts and a white polo shirt. Their shoes must be plain black and can be school shoes or trainers (as long as they are plain black with no obvious logos). Our PE uniform is a plain white t-shirt with dark blue leggings, shorts or jogging bottoms. Children wear their PE uniform on their PE day. You will be told what day this is as the start of term.

Breakfast and Teatime Club (Playcentre)

Breakfast club runs from 7.30-9am every day at a cost of £2.50 per day

Teatime Club (Playcentre) is from 3.30-5.30pm at a cost of £11 per day with a sibling discount of £1 per child.
